Braces

Our poor daughter. Sophie inherited the nice size of the "Murphy Teeth" from Scott's side of the family. They're nice, big square teeth something that a lot of people wish for. Unfortunately for Sophie, her mouth size cannot fit these teeth. Of course we found this out immediately when her loose tooth couldn't move because there was no room between her permanent front tooth and her other baby tooth. Sorry hon!
That being said--it is necessary to, gulp, stretch our daughters mouth to accomodate these teeth. There is a crank and a medeival torture device involved. But at this writing we've already had to change methods. For heaven's sake she's not even 8 and has lots of questions and ain't gonna take this lying down! She's a girl with things to do. Luckily there was an alternative!

I will let you all know when we are being celebrated at the dedication to the "Murphy Wing" of Dr. Allen's Orthodontic Office. Should be a good time had by all!
