Amusing

As Murphy Family tradition dictates, every summer our family ventures to Oaks Amusement Park for a day of fun. Oaks Park is 103 years old and one of the oldest operating parks in America. We always go on a Tuesday. Being the smart shoppers we are, Tuesdays are
2 for 1 days. You can get your admission 2 for 1 or maybe a corn dog and cotton candy to boot! We always let the kids take a friend since the friend would be "free". It's always something that we look forward to.

This year was hotter than, well, Satan's Lair, and so we downed the water and rode the covered rides more than usual. McKay and Tanner are trying to smile with the blaring sun in their eyes!

Sophie is with Cassidy and Cole. With the weather in the 90's, slushies are mandatory. Or so we were told. Betchya can't guess what flavors they ate!

Keaton brought Adam, his best bud for years. It wouldn't be a tradition if we didn't have Adam with us! It's fun to see how each year they've grown and been able to ride more & more rides.

And then there's my hardworking hubby who when
all is said and done, deserves to ride a Go-Kart even IF it costs
more than half his admission to the park. When the wind was
whipping through his hair, and he was grinning from ear to ear--
THAT'S what was most amusing.
